The primary objective was to differentiate the School from its competitors with a clear and consistent brand. Following an extensive research phase and working alongside Robert Fletcher & Partners, we were asked to create a clear brand around the concept of ‘Only Connect’. The brand should build upon the strong reputation of the School that is already in place, but also appeal to those audiences who have a lack of awareness of the School, in particular those who live in London.

To create a brand hierarchy for School comms, from high level marcomms for prospective parents to internal comms, and for all media channels. We created a distinctive style for top level comms using ‘connecting’ illustrations and introduced the concept of ‘From’ and ‘To’ headlines that can be used on all materials, giving explanation to the ‘Only Connect’ brand positioning.
Tonbridge ‘Only Connect’ has been awarded the AMCIS (Admissions, Marketing & Communications in Independent Schools) 2022 IMPACT award for branding.
